I live in Florida and Wyoming at different times of the year and find this oil to be useful in both climates. It’s extremely hydrating without being overly oily. I not only use it for my face but for my hands and neck as well, leaving my skin silky smooth and moisturized. I LOVE this product! The fragrance is soft yet sweet without being overpowering.
This is a product that works. Let's start at the application. I use this exclusively as a body oil. The pump is awesome. It only pumps out a little, so no waste. It is thick, and spreading it is a little work, and therefore you need a little more. It doesn't absorb into the skin very fast, so I have to wait a short time till it has. It does not leave an oily film or pore-clogging heavy feeling at all. My skin feels refreshed and soothed. It has a great fresh citrus scent that I love, and it dissipates rather quickly. There is no lingering of the scent to intermix with perfume, and I love that. It has lots of properties that I look for in a personal care product. It is totally free of harsh chemicals and uses only natural oils. I actually add a drop of this to my Jacqueline Piotaz Power Cream and use it on my face and neck for great results. These results are that my skin feels better, and looks healthier with this hydrating moisturizer. I love it that I can use it for my hands, body, face, neck, and even my hair. It can be used in conjunction with, and supplements other creams from Jacqueline Piotaz and compliments them. I am happy with the results and they are more than just moisturizers for me. They are good for making me feel good about myself too. That has great value for me, and I give this great product 5 stars.
The Pure Revitalizing Oil is a dry oil that can be used on the face and body. I personally use it on my decollete in the evening so my chest can absorb the oil and stay hydrated. The formula contains the following ingredients: orange peel oil, bergamot oil, barley seed oil, grape seed oil, lemon peel oil, and apricot kernel oil. A mix of luxurious carrier oils and citrusy essential oils make it soothing aromatherapy for both mind and body. I love that oil is dry so it can be worn even during the day without ruining clothes with oils. This product uses tocopherol (vitamin E) as a preservative, so you will not need to worry about parabens or any other harmful ingredients. The scent is natural fro the essential oils and you will not be overwhelmed. It gives a sense of fresh, clean scent. This product is made in Switzerland.
I read the information that came with this and it talked about "dry oil" which made me think, yeah, right...oil isn't dry! Okay, so I was right and wrong at the same time. Oil can't totally be dry, but this product is an oil that when applied to the skin does NOT leave any oily trace so yes, it becomes a dry oil on the skin! I will say that the packaging was a bit over the top - it opens more like an origami thing. This is some really amazing oil. I will continue to use it and may purchase it again... rather expensive, but depending on long-term use effectiveness, it may be the best thing I have used to help my aging skin remain young.
A little goes a long way with this product, so the ability to control it is a good thing. I also like the citrus fragrance - it's fairly mild, but pleasant, and it fades quickly as the product dries. It does feel a bit greasy going on, and if you're like me and you use the product around shower time, it can take quite a while to dry and "sink in". I also use it on some of my other problem areas, like knees, elbows, and the soles of my feet. After a week or two, I notice that the skin in these areas seems notably healthier and smoother overall, so this feels like a victory.
