Often, rare and nearly-extinct plants, classified as endangered species, contain especially valuable ingredients, but may not be harvested for use in skincare.

Now with the discovery of the stem cell cultivation technology, we are able to use scarce and endangered plants, using only a very small amount of the original plant. Stell cell cultivation technology allows us to use the potent stem cells of plants, whilst being sustainable and keeping them in their natural habitat.

How does the Stem Cell Cultivation Technology work?

We select a small piece of the plant and wound it, inducing callus formation from stem cells. In special laboratory conditions, these stem cells develop and cultivate, allowing us to use them in our skincare products without having to harvest the original plant.

What is so special about plant stem cells?

Every plant has stem cells, but unlike in humans cells, every plant cell has the potential to dedifferentiate to a stem cell and grow into an entirely new plant.

Due to this potential, we are able to successfully generate and cultivate plant stem cells, allowing us to use the rarest of plants without removing them from the wild.
